Lake Norman Real Estate;Senate Approves $15,000 Tax Credit to ANYONE buying a house in 2009?

Although not yet passed by the Senate and signed by the President, this addition to the bailout could be huge to the Real Estate Market.

The amendment to the bill was submitted by Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia who said:

“It is time to fix America’s problem, not throw money at the symptoms. It is time to fix housing first. It is rare that we have a road map to success in times of difficulty, but this country has once before realized a housing crisis every bit as bad as the one we have today and economic troubles every bit as dangerous,” Isakson said. “We have a pervasive housing problem, and we have a historical precedent that works. I am proud this Senate has joined together, learned from history and repeated a method that worked by adopting this amendment.” Read the entire article here!

Lake Norman and the Charlotte area is such a great place to live and invest in real estate. Our property values have not fallen as far as many parts of the country and our future growth is secure.

Also, with all the inventory, the addition of this amendment could be just what buyers have been waiting for.

I believe this could be good news for both buyers and sellers!
