The Point Inventory and Absorption Rate – November 2010

 

The Point, sadly, has not faired as well as some of our other Lake Norman Neighborhoods and the currently inventory statistic is much higher than our Charlotte area averages.  What this means is that if you compare the luxury home market, it has fallen behind other ‘affordable’ communities in the area.   This is more evidence that it is a fantastic buyers market for those considering the Lake Norman area and especially The Point!

The Point (Area 13)

Homes sold per month over the past year 4.2
Homes on the market now 63
Current inventory 15.1 months

 

Note: The more solds/actives you see, the more reliable the data. In other words, inventory in a neighborhood with few solds and few actives might not be as accurate in the real world.

Current inventory 10.90 months

Mecklenburg

Homes sold per month over the past year 827.90
Homes on the market now 9078
Current inventory 11.00 months
